Health and Safety first!
We put health and safety first because pet parents not only want their babies to look and smell good, but, to be healthy and feel good, too.
To ensure your fur baby's health is protected, we have invested in equipment & tools that are registered with the EPA and are FCC certified to kill microorganisms, viruses, such as COVID-19 and bacteria without the use of toxic, irritating chemical agents, used on all tools utilized on our clients, from clippers, shears, brushes & combs to harnesses, leads and staff smocks between each grooming service.
We are insured, which means your fur baby is insured.
Our state of the art mobile salon is climate controlled, fully equipped with hot water, electricity, and salon equipment on board. We are fully self contained with your fur baby's safety & comfort at top of mind.
The salon is equipped with top of the line tools & products to make your fur baby feel and look their best.
Mobile Grooming Services are provided on a routed scheduling system, determined by your location.
Services are provided by appointments only. Appointments are offered on 2, 4 & 6 week recurring schedule. This allows you to secure an appointment spot for your fur baby once and never have to call or request future appointments, again. As a VIP customer, your future appointments are automatically scheduled. Reminders are sent 4 and 2 days before each upcoming appointment, removing the need for you to remember, making groom appointments stress free and it keeps your pet looking & feeling their best, too!
Groom Packages are all inclusive. We offer nose to tail service, never charging extra for de-shedding or detangling (unless it's excessive) sani, paw pad and nail trims/dremel, teeth brushing/dental spray or special shampoos. All spa services include nose to tail assessment and care!
"Call as you need" services are not always available. We strongly suggest keeping your fur baby on a 2, 4 or 6 week recurring schedule. Our goal is to help you maintain the health and beauty of your baby's skin and coat.
All prices and times are estimates. We have a 2 hour minimum groom time. Larger breeds and Doodles may be up to 3.5 hours. Base or starting prices and groom time are quoted with the assumption the coat is in good condition (minimal shedding and 1 or 2 to no mats) and behavior during the groom session, especially getting nails trimmed/dremeled and being blow dried is good/mild with little to no pulling, running away or refusal to stand, etc.
We will not shave down a doubled coated dog, unless absolutely necessary or Express Anal Glands.
Why no shave down? We are glad you're wondering...
- It does Not reduce or prevent shedding.
- It's not a solution to keep your baby cool in the summer.
- Most important, It can severely ruin your fur baby’s coat, causing alopecia and diminish their ability to regulate their body temperature, keeping them cool during the Summer/Spring seasons and warm in the Winter.
The purpose of a dog’s undercoat, which is a second coat beneath the top/outer coat, is to keep your dog warm during winter and cool in the summer. In other words the coat helps to regulate body temperature and protects the skin.
The best way to reduce shedding is to regularly brush and comb the coat and have your baby groomed (bathed and conditioned) every 4 to 6 weeks (the sooner the better) with maintenance brushing in between.
Why don't we express anal glands? We are glad you asked...
The short answer is it's not necessary and therefore can be harmful to do so. Each time your fur baby has a bowel movement the glands are intrinsically expressed.
If you suspect your fur baby has an issue, have them checked out by a vet.
